Music

The music department at PVUMC is a vibrant program that includes members from all ages in our worship community. There are choirs for preschool, grade school, youth and adults. We also offer handbells for adults and our youth worship arts ministry- IGNITE (In God Nothing Is Too Extreme). In addition to the groups listed, we are always looking for talented individuals to provide special music for offertories and events.
The music ministry is also in need of those who do not sing but wish to support us. We need people to run sound and lights, help with setup for events, assist with fundraising efforts, and administrative duties.
If you have any questions or would like to participate in this vital ministry that serves God, our community, and our church, please contact Karl Marzolf in the music office- 791-0353 or by e-mail at marzolf@pvumc.net.

IGNITE (In God, Nothing Is Too Extreme) is the PVUMC Worship Arts Ministry for youth, led by P.J. Bolduc.
IGNITE is open to all youth in grades 6-12 who would like to use the performing arts (singing, instruments, dance, and drama) as a way to worship and to minister to others, but you do not have to be a great singer, play an instrument, dance, or act to be part of this ministry.  IGNITE is about passing the flame of Christ to others who need it most, and having fun in the process!

IGNITE participates in worship through music on a regular basis, usually once a month. We prepare special programs to present not only to our church, but other groups in our community that need to hear about God’s love.

Rehearsals are held every Sunday night in the Sanctuary from 5-6, right before UMYF.
