Nursery Ministry
At Pine Valley UMC, we realize when you place your child in the church nursery, you are entrusting us with your most precious gift. It is our goal to provide a warm, safe, loving environment for your little one. Our mission is to support and nurture the growth of all children and their families as disciples of Jesus Christ by offering spiritual opportunities that encourage knowledge of and a relationship with God. This can begin in our nurseries.

Who Takes Care of Your Children?
It is our goal to have two paid nursery staff that are here every week in addition to church volunteers serving in the nurseries. We move caregivers around as needed based on the number of children in each room.
We hope to have care givers in the nurseries 10-15 minutes prior to the service; however, many of our volunteers have additional church commitments and young children they must get into place before they can get to the nurseries. We appreciate your patience and understanding. The Nursery Coordinator is responsible for scheduling the volunteers and overseeing this program.
Which Nursery Should Your Child Be In?
We are blessed to have three rooms designated for young children in our Christian Life Center:
Room 101- 4 year olds Room 102- Nursery Crib Room
Room 103- 3 year olds 104- Crawlers Nursery
106- Toddlers/2 year olds
We leave the transition from room to room up to each parent and the individual development of each child, instead of basing this move on age as we do with Sunday School.Call Julie Anderson if you would like to volunteer in the nursery or have any questions.
